WAITING...

The times in our life that become “waiting periods,” do not have to be dead time. In fact, these are the times we can get a lot of things accomplished.

The majority of my life centers around setting goals and working toward those goals; but almost every season of my life also involves a season of waiting. It is during these times, I question my motives, my reasoning, my logic, and my abilities. I often question the strength of my faith.

During the waiting season, we sometimes fail. We can become impatient and get distracted, or lose strength and give in to temptation. When I do the work, stand firm in my faith, and remain focused; the waiting period is an opportunity to showcase my skills, to help others, and to prepare for the future.

Don’t let the waiting period get you down. It is usually the quiet before the storm.

Have a great week!
