The other day, I realized that almost every day of my life is full of doing things that I initially did not want to do.
I did not want to work a real job. I did not want to work hard or work out all of the time. I did not want to wake up early and I did not want to stop drinking.
Most times, the things I need to do or should be doing are the things I do not want to do. The choices and behaviors that bring me the best results are usually the most difficult to continue doing. Not because they are difficult but because they can feel boring or repetitive at times. Unfortunately, results don’t lie.
Being happy and healthy makes everything more enjoyable. Instead of taking a more comfortable approach with a short term solution, do the things that make you better no matter what happens in your life.
Have a great week!
Neal
