But what if they don’t like me?
Yeah, well that’s going to happen. People are going to think you suck and there isn’t a thing you can do to change it. My problems begin to start when I decided to care what they think, knowing damn well I chose to be who I am.
You are who you chose to be. That is a fact. If the opinions you are hearing about yourself from other people are consistently negative; well, you might want to take a look at some things lol I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but sometimes I have to be told that I am wrong. I take the opinions of others and throw them to the principles I live by. If they have validation, I am now obligated to work it out or be bullheaded. Doing this gracefully is what constitutes gentlemanly and/or ladylike behavior.
However, just because you don’t like what I say or do, does not mean I need to change what I say and do. They may not know what I know or what my experience has been. We all have a one of kind, state of the art, high level computer on top of our bodies and behind our the forehead of our skull. This thing tells me who I am, why I am here, and what I am doing. It works in tandem with my heart, and we ask God to lead the way. We make decisions based on how it helps others and ourselves in the name of God and his love. Outside opinions mean nothing.
I have an awesome life and the only time I care what someone else is doing is when it harms me and my loved ones or if they want to stop harming themselves. Beyond that, I hope everyone continues to be as weird as they can be so this whole thing can stay fun.
STOP CARING WHAT THEY THINK
Have a great week!
