So many things in my life seem to be or involve a process.
Becoming something or someone is a long term process. Forgiving someone is also a long process. Loving and learning…the long processes these things involve we often refer to as a journey.
I often have to remind myself that time cannot be the ruler of my life. Things are going to take time. Not only will it take time to adjust when I am changing my career, but I also need to consider how long it take to adjust from work to family in the evenings or leading into vacation.
I expect myself to flip a switch and make more money for my family or to be more emotionally available or more patient. These things are possible, but they take time.
Give yourself some grace and a some room to work. It's a process!
Have a great week!
