GRATITUDE & GRACE

We are always telling each other to be kind to others and to be kind to ourselves. I think this is a great message, but I need something with legs. Two things I intentionally set out to do each day are:

1) tell people I appreciate them

2) give myself grace while still holding myself accountable.

I try to thank people every chance I get. It is so important to let the people around you know how grateful you are for them. Let people know you are happy they are here in your life. My relationships have grown so much, as a result of doing this more. If you aren’t practicing this already, please give it a try for at least a week. It will change your life.

I will never be a drugged-up, party animal again, but I will never get everything right in this new lifestyle either. We are going to mess up. Things are going to go wrong and we are going to be the ones to blame. Life is about the response we give when things get difficult and it is about being better than you were yesterday. Set the standard early on. but never forget; we are all a work in progress.

Remember to give thanks, and to give yourself some grace.

Have a great day!

Neal
