DELIGHT IN WEAKNESS

“…I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties.”

When I tried to do everything on my own, I viewed every challenge in life as a daunting task. More inconvenience being sent my way…but when I started asking for and seeking help, my perspective changed. Hard times present an opportunity for my faith to work. When I am weak, there is now room and reason for the strength of God and others to come into my life.

A season of challenge is not just some random bullshit coming your way. It is a call for healing in your life. Pain happens when we remove the veil that covers our weaknesses, our soft spots. Those things need help, healing, and oftentimes hard work.

When things get serious, life helps us purge out the fake people we have allowed into our lives. Pain highlights the people who are there for us and it shows us where we need to grow. It reminds me why I am grateful for God and it reminds me that I am able.

Today, I am thankful for the opportunity to heal and to grow.

Have a great week!

Neal
